Between the two of them you can probably find everything you need to know about eBikes.
The provided a lot of insight to help a perspective buyer make decisions based on their individual needs or wishes. There are many option availablle in an infant industry that promises to grow exponentially. Before making an expensive investment blindly take the opportunity for this quick read to make a more confident decision
Not much in here that isn't available on the internet. The author pulled some information together in a single place, didn't learn anything new.
Mr. Rye is the real-deal he writes from a wealth of personal experience with a variety of bikes. I found his insights and information very helpful. He is a prolific tester and reviewer of eBikes via his website, Electric Bike Review[...]. I recommend this book highly for an excellent introduction to eBikes and a comprehensive overview.
Good advice and information on ebikes. I knew nothing and this book was an excellent primer it gave me good information on various setups and components of the ebike. The advantage and disadvantages of center drives, hub drives, battery capacities, all on one spot. Yes the information is available on the web. But this is a great place to start. It has many web links in it, readily available in link form on the kindle version I purchased.Thanks
This an excellent guide for someone who is interested in learning about this relatively new type of vehicle. The author describes the different kinds of motors, motor placement, frame types, wheel sizes and battery configurations. He tells us who benefits from riding an electric bike, how to select the right bike among the hundreds of models on the market, why buy from a dealer rather than online, what are the legal restrictions and what are the advantages of ebikes.
Court Rye is a master at product reviews, but this guide is extremely helpful to someone who is new at electric bikes. He provides a clear, concise & precise background on electric bikes. Using the benefit of his extensive biking experience and specific examples (e.g. gender, weight, bike use, etc.) he also helps with finding the perfect bike for you.
This is a must-buy for anybody considering getting into the wonderful sport of electric biking!
